Eat & Drink in Boulder
Boulder is a bar and restaurant-rich environment and there are plenty of options for every palate. Here are some of our favorites (though there are plenty of good options we haven't tried yet!)
Breakfast
Snooze
Lots of breakfast options, especially good if you like dessert pancakes.
The Buff (across the street from Hilton Garden Inn)
A Boulder institution with $1 mimosas (they do cut you off after 3...)
Walnut Cafe
Traditional breakfast spot a little further away from the Pearl Street area.
Lunch/Dinner
Snarf's Sandwiches (Two locations: one on Pearl Street, one on Arapahoe and 55th)
Hearty grilled sub sandwiches.
Next Door Street Bar
Eclectic and globally inspired bowls, salads, wraps, etc.
Mountain Sun Pub
Great burgers and locally brewed beer.
Corrida
Upscale Spanish restaurant with amazing views of the Flatirons. If you like gin and tonics, this place is for you. If weather permits, we highly recommend sitting on the patio.
West End Tavern
Great spot if you like BBQ, beer, and whiskey.
Avanti and Rosetta Hall:
Both are trendy and modern "food courts" with a full bar. Both have several mini restaurant counters inside (good if not everyone in your party can decide on what to eat!)
Sushi Zanmai
They usually have really good lunch specials.
Sherpa
Cozy restaurant serving Nepali cuisine.
Bars
License Number One:
In the basement of the Hotel Boulderado. Great Old Fashioneds!
Bitter Bar
Cozy cocktail bar with a nice patio.
The Rio
Industrial strength margaritas. Apps are fine but we recommend going somewhere else for food.
Rayback Collective
Full bar with food trucks, lawn games, and fire pits.
Outback Saloon
One of Boulder's only dive bars. Karaoke on Friday night!
Dark Horse
Funky/divey with beer and bar food specials.
